Conditions of payment

Cancellation
Should you wish to cancel your event; a full refund will be granted if a request is received in writing 28 days before your event. Requests should be made to accounts@turboventures.co.uk or to Pilot House, 85 Corporation Street, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE4 5QF. Should a request be received less than 28 days before your event, refunds may be granted at Turboventure (Northumbria) Ltd’s discretion, payments may be lost if cancellation is within seven says of the event. A partial refund, gift voucher or alternate date may be offered. These conditions also apply to a decrease in a party’s participants. Any benefits, equipment, time slots etc (e.g. paintballs, in the case of paintballing) may be also lost.
Refund
Refunds will be granted at Turboventure (Northumbria) Ltd’s discretion.
Suitable clothing
Turboventure provides overalls for most activities.  Many activities and experiences take place outdoors in areas with limited or no shelter. All participants and spectators are reminded to dress accordingly for the weather conditions and also for the activity. Some activities may involve participants getting dirty, wet, being exposed to oil (vehicle driving) and other substances that may damage clothing and footwear. Participants should wear old clothing and footwear that they do not mind being exposed to these substances. For some activities Turboventure (Northumbria) Ltd may suggest you wear specific clothing/footwear e.g. boots to protect ankles while paintballing. Please enquire when booking what specific clothing you may require.
Weather conditions
Should weather conditions be of such nature, or deteriorate to an extent that it would be unsafe to continue the activity, Turboventure (Northumbria) Ltd reserve the right to end the activity prematurely to maintain the safety of customers and staff. At Turboventure (Northumbria) Ltd’s discretion a replacement experience, refund, gift voucher or alternate date may be offered. Should participants be deemed to have received the majority of their activity or experience then a replacement experience, refund, gift voucher or alternate date may not be offered.
Vehicles substitutions
In the event that a vehicle cannot be used due to mechanical, ground or adverse weather conditions, Turboventure (Northumbria) Ltd. reserve the right to offer a substitute vehicle in replacement for the original experience or an alternate date. Should an alternate vehicle be offered, the replacement experience will be of equal or higher value to the original experience.

Alcohol, drugs, smoking and unacceptable behaviour

Staff, management and directors reserve the right to refuse any one they believe to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, access to sites, vehicles buildings and participation of activities.  Anyone displaying what staff, management or company directors believe to be unacceptable behaviour may be asked to stop there activity and/or rejected from any site or building.  Smoking is not allowed in any enclose space or in or near any vehicle.  Smoking is only permitted in certain areas as designated by staff.

Damages

Any person who causes any damage, as a result of not carrying out instructions from Turboventure (Northumbria) ltd staff, managers and/or directors may be liable to pay the full amount for repair or replacement.  That person may also be asked to cease that activity and/or ejected from the site.

Injury

All activities are undertaken at participants own risk.  If any member of a party is not completely happy with any activity they are entitled not to take part.  No member of staff will or will allow unnecessary pressure to be applied to such a person by staff or other participants in the event of this occurring.  Any injury sustained while partaking in any event or experience must be reported to a member of Turboventure (Northumbria) Ltd staff or management immediately no claim of injury can be made once that person leaves the site.  It is the injured parties’ responsibility to ensure any such incident is reported and entered into the accident book.
